HAND Announces and Honors Children’s Essay Contest Winner
And the Children’s Essay Contest Winner Is…
Audriana Gamble
We are thrilled to announce that Audriana Gamble, a Housing Up and Somerset Development community member, has been selected as the winner of our Children’s Essay Contest. Her compelling essay, “Community Hero: My Sister,” beautifully ties into the theme of this year’s 33rd Annual HAND Honors, celebrating the impacts individuals can have within their communities. In her essay, Audriana shares how her sister’s achievements, leadership, and decision to pursue Sociology at Spelman College have inspired Audriana to continue her academic studies and set big life goals. Join us at this year’s HAND Honors to witness Audriana’s passionate presentation of her winning essay. We want to extend a sincere thank you to all the hopefuls who submitted their work, as well as congratulations to our two runners-up, Maryori Dariela Mayorga Funez, MHP & Laryn Abdlkadir, AHC. Let’s continue fostering a brighter future, together. Register for HAND Honors to be part of an evening of inspiration and recognition!
