Anya Kamara, Partner and Managing Director, accepted the award as Developer of the Year for 2025 on behalf of the entire Somerset Development team at the Awards Luncheon at the Housing& 35th Annual Meeting & Housing Expo held at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, DC on May 13.

Among Somerset’s accomplishments in 2025 are the delivery of two significant properties: 1) The Faircliff in Washington, DC, developed in partnership with New Community Partners, Jonathan Rose Companies, and THC Affordable Housing Inc. (Housing Up); and 2) The Hammond at Greenmount Park in the Baltimore including a new Enoch Pratt Free Library branch, developed in partnership with ReBuild Metro, Inc. Both properties fit our mission of providing mixed-income community-centered housing solutions that help revitalize their surrounding neighborhoods and create greater opportunities for residents.
